「環境保護」是現今社會最迫切的議題之一，而在尼泊爾的城市及農村地區，固體廢物管理問題尤為嚴重。快速的城市化和消費模式的改變，導致大量垃圾未能妥善處理，污染環境並危害公共健康。參加者將透過本工作營，推廣可持續的廢物管理措施，包括減少、重用及回收，並組織社區清潔行動，一同守護尼泊爾的綠色未來！
Environmental protection is a critical issue in Nepal, especially in managing solid waste in both urban and rural areas. Rapid urbanization and changing consumption habits have led to increased waste, which, if poorly managed, causes severe environmental degradation and health risks. In VIN’s working communities, improper waste disposal, particularly non-biodegradable waste (NBW), is a significant challenge. This waste harms agricultural land, reduces productivity, and threatens farmers' livelihoods. Children are especially vulnerable to health problems caused by poor waste management.The project “Environmental Stewards: Preserving Our Common Home” focuses on promoting sustainable waste management practices, such as waste segregation, recycling, and composting, to reduce pollution and improve public health. The initiative aims to empower communities through education and proactive cleaning activities to create a cleaner, greener future for Nepal.Objective:Prevent and control water, land, and air pollution through environmental education and cleaning activities.

The project includes community clean-up campaigns, waste management training focusing on the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), and promoting sustainable kitchen gardening practices among local households.
食宿安排
- 住宿於加德滿都郊區的社區家庭
- 提供簡單但舒適的設施，包括電力及乾淨飲用水

- 與當地家庭一起用餐，體驗地道尼泊爾飲食文化
- 每天提供當地特色的簡單餐食
Participants will stay with local host families in the Jitpurphedi community, located in the Tarakeshwor Municipality, about 10-15 km from Kathmandu's main ring road. Meals will be provided by the host family, allowing participants to experience authentic Nepali cuisine.
