About this camp: Youth for Smile in partnership with a local NGO aims to transform the former orphanage in Lauderi village into a vibrant hub for non-formal education. Volunteers will play a crucial role in revitalizing the building and its surroundings, fostering community engagement and learning.




Work: – Revitalize the park area around the orphanage for educational activities.- Clear out old furnishings and debris for a fresh learning environment.- Foster community connections with local residents.- Engage in collaborative projects essential for the center’s success.- Use creativity and energy to enhance the local educational landscape.



Accommodation and Food: – Experience authentic rural life in an organization house near the project site.- Enjoy communal cooking in a simple yet equipped kitchen with your team.- Participate in cultural nights by sharing dishes from your home country.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the scenic Ludza municipality and its lush landscapes.- Visit historical sites or enjoy the tranquility of the countryside during downtime.- Immerse yourself in local traditions and daily activities.
