About this camp: The project initiated by Jaunatne smaidam / Youth for Smile aims to foster environmental sustainability through a sustainable farm-training center, inviting international volunteers to engage in various tasks related to agriculture, restoration of natural areas, and traditional building preservation. Volunteers will participate in hands-on activities while also benefiting from non-formal education sessions focused on eco-activism, contributing positively to local ecosystems and communities.




Work: – Engage in permaculture garden development emphasizing sustainable practices.- Care for farm animals including sheep, goats, and rabbits.- Restore natural meadows and purify rivers from overgrowth.- Create a nature path in the forest to enhance natural beauty.- Participate in non-formal education sessions on eco-activism.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will be accommodated in tents provided by the organizers.- Basic facilities including toilets and washing facilities will be available.- Cooking will be done by volunteers in an outdoor kitchen; sleeping bags are required.



Leisure Activities: – The work camp will be organized in Brbele village, Bauska municipality.- Opportunities to visit cultural and historical places during the camp.- Volunteers can organize intercultural events.
