About this camp: The Xiluo LMTV workcamp focuses on revitalizing the historical Yenping Street in Xiluo, Taiwan, by promoting cultural exchange and restoring heritage houses. Volunteers will engage in daily tasks at the Xiluo Eco Museum while experiencing local culture and contributing to community development.




Work: – Assist in cleaning and maintaining the Xiluo Eco Museum and backpacker house.- Help manage social media and online presence for the Louyoung Foundation.- Participate in gardening and environmental community events.- Engage with local residents and international volunteers to foster cultural exchange.- Experience traditional Taiwanese culture through various activities.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is provided at Xiluo Backpacker’s House, conveniently located in the town center.- Volunteers will receive pocket money of approximately NT6000 for daily food and can either cook or enjoy local cuisine.- Basic amenities like internet access, a washing machine, and a refrigerator are available.



Leisure Activities: – Excursions and events organized by the foundation with local residents.- Opportunities for eco-tourism are available (optional).- Volunteers can engage in cultural activities such as kung fu and other local traditions.
