About this camp: Volunteers in Dazhuang Community, Taiwan, will learn about the culture of the Chinese Temple while participating in health promotion activities with elders and engaging in cultural exchanges with children. This initiative aims to foster community involvement and cultural appreciation among local youth and international volunteers.




Work: – Learn about the culture of the Chinese Temple in Taiwan.- Participate in health promotion activities with elders.- Share exotic cultures with children to broaden their horizons.- Engage in local ceremonies, including preparation for annual Chinese Temple events.- Design and conduct fun games and performances for elders.



Accommodation and Food: – Participants will stay in the community and work together.- Bring your own sleeping bag.- Washing and drying machines are provided.



Leisure Activities: – The work will be focused on health activities for elders held five times a week.- Volunteers will prepare performances to share their cultures.- Local cultural sharing activities will take place with both elders and children.
