About this camp: The 15th workcamp invites volunteers to a XIV century fortress near Belgrade to participate in the conservation of this historical structure alongside archeologists and students. Activities will include digging, cleaning artifacts, and repairing wall sections that have not been addressed in many years, while also engaging in environmental clean-up.




Work: – Conservation of the XIV century fortress structure.- Collaboration with archeologists and students.- Digging and cleaning of found artifacts (metals and bones).- Repairing parts of the fortress walls for the first time in many years.- Removal of invasive plants and trash in the surrounding area.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in renovated ethno-houses or village offices.- Sleeping arrangements are on beds inside.- Local housewives will prepare meals focusing on national cuisine with options for vegetarian meals.



Leisure Activities: – Exploration of cultural and historical sights in Kupinovo.- Daily walks in the nearby forest and along the river Sava.- At least one organized visit to Belgrade for cultural experiences.
