About this camp: The 15th workcamp invites volunteers to a XIV century fortress near Belgrade for conservation efforts, including wall repairs, artifact cleaning, and invasive plant removal. Participants will engage with local archeologists and enjoy the ‘Kupinik-Days of Dragons’ festival, offering a mix of organization and medieval-themed activities.




Work: – Conservation of the 14th-century fortress structure.- Collaboration with archeologists and students on artifact cleaning.- Repairing parts of walls for the first time in years.- Removing invasive plants and collecting trash in the area.- Assisting in the organization of the ‘Kupinik-Days of Dragons’ festival.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in renovated ethno-houses or the former village office.- Accommodation will be on beds inside.- Local housewives will prepare meals focusing on national cuisine, with vegetarian options available.



Leisure Activities: – The village is rich in cultural and historical sights, including Kupinik Fortress and churches.- Opportunities for pleasant walks in the nearby forest and along the Sava river.- At least one visit to Belgrade will be organized, along with flexibility for additional activities.
