About this camp: You will contribute to sustaining the ecosystem of Liepnitz island and the surrounding forests by assisting local foresters with various environmental works and renovation tasks. Accommodation is basic, with camp beds in tents and eco-friendly compost toilets, situated on a picturesque island with opportunities for outdoor activities.




Work: – Assist local foresters in sustaining the ecosystem of Liepnitz island.- Perform environmental works such as removing invasive species and collecting rubbish.- Engage in renovation and construction tasks on the island.- Workdays are 6 hours long with weekends free.- Participate in group activities and share meals with fellow volunteers.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation consists of three large tents with camp beds.- Basic infrastructure includes eco-friendly compost toilets and a small kitchen with a gas hob cooker.- Volunteers will take turns preparing meals and are encouraged to share recipes.



Leisure Activities: – Swimming is allowed in the picturesque lake Liepnitzsee.- Opportunities for outdoor sports such as soccer, table-tennis, and volleyball.- Engage respectfully with other vacation campers and explore nature.
