About this camp: The workcamp involves developing and conducting artistic sessions for children, including drawing, painting, and crafts, while organizing activities such as origami and dance. Volunteers will stay in simple accommodations provided by a host family or hostel in the Jitpurphedi community, located on the outskirts of Kathmandu District.




Work: – Develop and conduct artistic sessions for children to express themselves through various mediums.- Organize engaging activities like origami, collage, music, and dance.- Facilitate creative expression among children in a nurturing environment.- Encourage teamwork and collaboration through group art projects.- Foster cultural exchange and understanding through shared artistic experiences.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with a host family or in a hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are basic and shared between male and female volunteers with separate rooms.- Volunteers are required to bring their own sleeping bags for sleeping on single beds or mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Jitpurphedi community is situated in the Tarakeshwor Municipality, surrounded by natural beauty.- The area is approximately 10-15 km from the main ring road to Balaju in Kathmandu.- Volunteers can explore the scenic hills, fields, and woods in their leisure time.
