About this camp: As a volunteer, you will collaborate with the farmer’s VIN, specializing in permaculture. The practical work includes designing the farm based on permaculture principles, cultivating crops, and supporting farmers in making organic fertilizers. The volunteers will stay with a host family or hostel, experiencing the beauty of the hilly and mountainous terrain of Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2, Okhaldhunga district.




Work: – Collaborate with farmers specializing in permaculture.- Design the farm according to permaculture principles.- Cultivate crops, weed, irrigate, and gather materials.- Support farmers in creating organic fertilizers like compost.- Observe, interact, learn, and implement sustainable practices.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with a host family or hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic, with shared living areas.- Volunteers should bring their sleeping bags for single beds/mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2 is approximately 250 km from Kathmandu.- A local jeep can reach the area in 8-10 hours.- The region showcases beautiful hilly and mountainous terrain surrounded by woods and fertile fields.
