About this camp: This workcamp focuses on conducting awareness sessions about violence against women, organizing open forums for community interaction, and developing educational materials. Volunteers will stay in basic accommodation with host families or in a hostel, and can enjoy local sightseeing and weekend tours organized by VIN.




Work: – Conduct awareness sessions for both men and women about violence against women.- Organize an open forum for interaction with the local community to discuss women’s violence and solutions.- Develop educational materials addressing women’s issues.- Engage with community members to create a supportive environment.- Promote dialogue and understanding of women’s problems in the society.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with host families or in a hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic, with shared areas and separate rooms for male and female volunteers.- Volunteers should bring their own sleeping bags as they will sleep on simple beds or mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Jitpurphedi is located 10-15 km from Kathmandu’s main ring road and is surrounded by nature.- Sightseeing opportunities are available at various sites around the community.- VIN organizes optional weekend travel tours to Chitwan Jungle Safari, Pokhara, and Nagarkot at an additional cost.
