About this camp: The workcamp focuses on developing and conducting artistic sessions for children, including drawing, painting, and crafts, alongside organizing activities like origami, music, and dance. Volunteers will stay in simple accommodations provided by a host family or hostel in Jitpurphedi, located on the outskirts of Kathmandu, surrounded by natural beauty.




Work: – Develop artistic sessions for children to express themselves through drawing and painting.- Conduct craft activities, including creating gifts and collages.- Organize origami sessions to enhance children’s creativity.- Facilitate music and dance activities to promote self-expression.- Engage volunteers in collaborative projects with local children.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with a host family or in a hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic, with shared areas for male and female volunteers.- Volunteers are advised to bring their sleeping bags for single beds or mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Jitpurphedi is located in Tarakeshwor Municipality, about 10-15 km from Kathmandu’s main ring road.- The community is surrounded by hills, fields, and woods, offering a scenic environment.- Volunteers can explore the local area, experiencing its natural beauty.
