About this camp: As a volunteer, you will collaborate with the farmer’s VIN, specializing in permaculture, engaging in hands-on activities such as cultivating crops, weeding, and creating beds. Volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel with basic living facilities in Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2, Okhaldhunga district, approximately 250 km from Kathmandu.




Work: – Collaborate with farmers specializing in permaculture.- Design the farm according to permaculture principles.- Cultivate crops, weed, and create beds.- Support farmers in making organic fertilizers like compost.- Observe, interact, learn, and implement farming practices.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay with a host family or hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic, shared between male and female volunteers with separate rooms.- Volunteers will sleep on single beds/mattresses and are advised to bring their sleeping bags.



Leisure Activities: – Located in Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2, Nisankhe, Okhaldhunga district.- Approximately 250 km from Kathmandu, accessible by local jeep in 8-10 hours.- Surrounded by the beauty of Nepal’s hilly and mountainous terrain with fertile fields.
