About this camp: As a volunteer in this permaculture project, you will work alongside VIN farmers to design and cultivate crops based on permaculture principles. The location, Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2 in Okhaldhunga district, offers a picturesque rural setting approximately 250 km from Kathmandu, with basic living accommodations provided by a host family.




Work: – Collaborate with farmers at VIN specializing in permaculture.- Engage in hands-on activities like cultivating crops and weeding.- Assist in creating organic fertilizers such as compost.- Design the farm layout according to permaculture principles.- Observe and learn while implementing sustainable farming practices.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with a host family or hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic with shared accommodations for male and female volunteers.- Bring your own sleeping bag as volunteers will sleep on single beds/mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2 is approximately 250 km from Kathmandu.- Accessible by local jeep within 8-10 hours.- The region is characterized by beautiful hilly and mountainous terrain, surrounded by forests and fertile fields.
