About this camp: The workcamp focuses on developing and conducting artistic sessions for children, including drawing, painting, and crafts. Volunteers will engage in various activities such as origami and dance while staying in simple accommodations with host families in the Jitpurphedi community, located near Kathmandu.




Work: – Develop and conduct artistic sessions for children to express themselves creatively.- Organize various activities including origami and collage work.- Facilitate music and dance sessions for children’s engagement.- Encourage children’s artistic expression through crafts.- Support community interaction through creative workshops.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with host families or in a hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic, with shared areas and separate rooms for male and female volunteers.- Volunteers should bring their sleeping bags as they will sleep on single beds or mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Jitpurphedi community is situated in Tarakeshwor Municipality, on the outskirts of Kathmandu District.- The area is approximately 10-15 km from the main ring road to Balaju, Kathmandu.- The community is surrounded by hills, fields, and woods, providing a scenic environment.
