About this camp: As a volunteer, you will collaborate with the farmer’s VIN, specializing in permaculture. The work is hands-on, involving the design of the farm according to permaculture principles, and the volunteers will stay with a host family in simple living conditions in Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2, located approximately 250 km from Kathmandu.




Work: – Collaborate with the farmer’s VIN specializing in permaculture.- Design the farm according to permaculture principles.- Cultivate crops, weed, irrigate, gather materials, dig, and create beds.- Support farmers in making organic fertilizers like compost.- Observe, interact, learn, and implement sustainable practices.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with a host family/hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are simple and basic, with shared living areas and separate rooms.- Volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses and are advised to bring their sleeping bags.



Leisure Activities: – Siddhicharan Municipality Ward 2 is located in Nisankhe, Okhaldhunga district, approximately 250 km from Kathmandu.- A local jeep can reach it in 8-10 hours.- The region showcases the beauty of Nepal’s hilly and mountainous terrain, surrounded by woods and fertile fields.
