About this camp: The workcamp focuses on organizing a waste management and community clean-up campaign, training local people on the 3R principles: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, and developing a kitchen garden concept for households. Volunteers will stay with host families or in simple hostels, sharing living spaces with basic facilities, while being able to explore the surrounding community and participate in weekend tours.




Work: – Organize community clean-up campaigns involving local residents.- Train locals on garbage management using the 3R principles.- Implement segregation and disposal methods for waste.- Educate on making compost fertilizer at home.- Develop kitchen garden concepts for household implementation.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with host families or in a hostel identified by VIN.- Living facilities are basic, with shared spaces for male and female volunteers.- Volunteers should bring their sleeping bags and sleep on simple beds or mattresses.



Leisure Activities: – Jitpurphedi is located 10-15 km from Kathmandu, surrounded by natural beauty.- Sightseeing opportunities are available around the community.- Weekend tours to Chitwan Jungle Safari, Pokhara, and Nagarkot can be organized at an extra cost.
