About this camp: The workcamp focuses on organizing extra-curricular activities for children and teenagers aged 7-17, including English language, sports, music, arts, and games that enhance their learning. Additionally, volunteers will assist with garbage separation training, classroom renovations, and educational symbols for early childhood classes in Marangu, a village known for its rich culture and agricultural economy, located near Kilimanjaro.




Work: – Organize extra-curricular activities for children and teenagers (7-17 years old).- Provide training on garbage separation and installation of bins in schools.- Assist in renovating and painting school classrooms.- Draw educational symbols and letters for early childhood education.- Engage in activities that stimulate learning among children.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation will be at a community residential house.- Volunteers should expect to share rooms.- Vegetarian meals will be provided, and volunteers will help with meal preparation and kitchen cleaning.



Leisure Activities: – Marangu is known for its beautiful water streams and is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro.- The village offers insights into modern Tanzanian life and the culture of the Chagga people.- Leisure activities include wildlife safaris and Mount Kilimanjaro trekking, with various packages available.
