About this camp: This project will be hosted by the Lutheran Parish in Rongai, aiming to renovate an old church building into a daycare center for young children in the community to access early childhood education. It addresses significant barriers, including long walking distances to educational facilities that adversely affect school attendance for vulnerable children aged 4-6.




Work: – Renovate an old church building into a daycare center for children.- Address long walking distances that hinder children’s access to education.- Provide early childhood education and extracurricular activities.- Support vulnerable children aged 4-6 who face barriers to education.- Enhance school attendance rates in the community.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided in a basic community residential house.- Shared rooms with mattresses; basic water and toilet facilities available.- Volunteers will assist with meal preparation and cleaning, with vegetarian meals offered.



Leisure Activities: – Located in Kamwanga, Longido District, Arusha, Tanzania, about 112km from Moshi town.- Accessible via public transport from Moshi Main bus terminal.- Opportunities for leisure activities include wildlife safaris and mountain climbing.
