About this camp: The major aspect of this project focuses on community lifestyles, allowing volunteers and community members to experience and exchange work and leisure behaviors through various activities. Participants will reflect on self-image and engage in community economic, social-cultural activities, and language exchange, while experiencing the rich cultural diversity of the area.




Work: – Participation in daily economic activities of the community members including small businesses and farming.- Engagement in social aspects of community life such as traditional medicine and health care.- Learning through rituals and ceremonies, including weddings and other traditional events.- Language exchange with daily Kiswahili sessions and optional foreign language classes.- Inter-generational knowledge exchange and community exhibitions showcasing arts and culture.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation will be in a basic community residential house with shared rooms.- Volunteers will assist in meal preparation and cleaning, with vegetarian meals provided.- Basic amenities such as water and toilet facilities will be available.



Leisure Activities: – Wildlife safaris available to national parks like Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti.- Mountain climbing opportunities including Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru.- Options for eco and cultural tourism activities.
