About this camp: Volunteers will assist in renovating and painting school classrooms, drawing symbols and letters to enhance early childhood education, establishing garbage disposal sites, and organizing extracurricular activities for children and teenagers. The camp is located in Marangu, Tanzania, which offers insight into the local culture and community, as well as access to various leisure activities.




Work: – Assist in renovation and painting of school classrooms.- Draw symbols and letters to simplify reading and learning.- Establish garbage disposal sites and educate on waste separation.- Organize extracurricular activities for kids and teenagers (ages 7-17).- Facilitate sports, games, English language, arts, crafts, and remedial classes.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation will be in a community residential house.- Volunteers should expect to share rooms.- Vegetarian meals will be provided, and volunteers will assist with meal preparation and kitchen cleaning.



Leisure Activities: – Marangu offers insight into modern Tanzanian life and Chagga culture.- Local economy relies on farming and tourism, with options for wildlife safaris.- Accessible amenities include markets, shops, banks, and hospitals.
