About this camp: Volunteers will assist with renovation tasks including manual work, children’s indoor and outdoor games aimed at stimulating learning, nature activities such as bird watching and planting trees, and academic development activities to motivate children. The project takes place in Kamwanga, Longido District, Arusha, Tanzania, with accommodation in a basic community residential house.




Work: – Engage in manual renovation work including making new floors and painting.- Organize and introduce local and foreign games for children.- Conduct nature activities like bird watching and learning about local flora and fauna.- Assist children with homework and academic competitions.- Promote teamwork and active participation among children.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is in a shared community residential house with basic facilities.- Mattresses are provided, and volunteers are expected to help with meal preparation.- Vegetarian meals will be available throughout the project.



Leisure Activities: – The community is accessible by public transport from Moshi town.- Potential leisure activities include wildlife safaris in national parks such as Ngorongoro and Serengeti.- Opportunities for mountain climbing, eco-tourism, and cultural experiences are available.
