About this camp: The project focuses on community lifestyles, allowing volunteers and community members to exchange experiences through various activities. Participants will engage in economic and social-cultural life while reflecting on personal and communal identities influenced by cultural and social factors.




Work: – Participation in daily community economic activities such as small businesses, farming, and handicrafts.- Involvement in social aspects, including traditional medicine and health care.- Engagement in rituals and ceremonies, including weddings and other cultural events.- Language exchange opportunities through Kiswahili and optional foreign language classes.- Knowledge exchange through inter-generational sharing and community exhibitions.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided in a community residential house with basic facilities.- Shared rooms with mattresses, and volunteers assist with meal preparation and cleaning.- Vegetarian meals will be available throughout the project duration.



Leisure Activities: – The Nakilongos community is accessible via public transport from Moshi town.- The area is home to the Masai tribe and a mix of people due to economic activities in the region.- Leisure options include wildlife safaris to national parks and mountain climbing.
