About this camp: Volunteers will engage in establishing and managing a tree nursery at the Youth center, planting trees in public areas, conducting environmental cleaning and waste management, and promoting climate change education through workshops and creative means. Accommodation will be at the Youth hostel with basic amenities, and food will be provided on-site.




Work: – Establish and manage a tree nursery to increase tree species supply for conservation.- Plant trees in various open and public areas on the Island.- Conduct environmental cleaning and waste management in public areas and beaches.- Provide garbage separation demonstrations.- Educate and raise awareness about climate change through workshops and creative activities.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation will be at the Youth hostel.- Basic facilities like water, electricity, and toilets will be available.- Food will be provided at the project designated site.



Leisure Activities: – Mafia Island offers a variety of places to visit including a Marine park.- Opportunities for swimming and other water sports are available.- Eco and cultural tourism activities can be explored.
