About this camp: Join us in Serrada de la Fuente to help protect heritage and the environment through sustainable practices. Volunteers will engage in conservation work, learn traditional construction techniques, and interact with the local community while revitalizing rural traditions.




Work: – Carry out maintenance and conservation work on dry stone walls in Serrada de la Fuente.- Participate in knowledge-sharing activities among village elders and youth, focusing on traditional practices.- Engage in workshops to learn about traditional construction techniques and related environmental care.- Plan and participate in social theatre and non-formal education activities.- Experience cultural richness and community involvement during a 15-day volunteer camp.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided at Rural accommodation las Runas, Baja Street, 38, 28195 Serrada de la Fuente, Madrid.- Meals served in a local restaurant, including breakfast, mid-morning fruit, lunch, and dinner.- Comfortable living arrangements to foster a communal atmosphere among volunteers.



Leisure Activities: – Welcome Evening to introduce volunteers to the camp.- Discovering Serrada I and II to explore local culture and heritage.- Leisure activities like a treasure hunt in Buitrago de Lozoya and a Full Moon Party for social engagement.
