About this camp: This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through workshops, discussions, presentations, and visits, while contributing directly to environmental protection through outdoor cleanup tasks. Participants will also learn to plan their own trash cleaning projects back home and engage with the local community.




Work: – Learn about global and local environmental issues through workshops and discussions.- Participate in outdoor cleanup tasks in partnership with organizations or solely by SEEDS.- Engage the local community in various events.- Choose between two hands-on volunteering activities including trips to geothermal power plants or coastal cleanups.- Share environmental issues from participants’ countries and adapt to outdoor work schedules.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay in a shared house in Reykjavik with basic facilities including an equipped kitchen and bathrooms.- Accommodation is in shared rooms, accommodating up to 6 people, and volunteers should bring their own towels.- Food provided will be vegetarian, and volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavik is a modern city living harmoniously with nature, utilizing renewable energy sources.- It is the world’s northernmost capital, situated between Europe and North America.- The city offers a vibrant cosmopolitan cultural scene surrounded by beautiful nature.
