About this camp: SEEDS volunteers will engage in a variety of activities focused on environmental conservation, including forestry work and raising awareness about ocean pollution through hands-on cleanup efforts. Based at Alvira, the camp offers opportunities for learning, sharing, and connecting with nature, with no prior experience needed.




Work: – Participate in forestry work and vegetable greenhouses in the EcoVillage.- Engage in a project to raise awareness about ocean pollution and contribute to cleanup efforts.- Maintain the center through gardening, renovations, and wildlife protection projects.- Share environmental issues from home countries and adapt to changing schedules.- Enjoy a camp that combines learning, sharing, and hands-on work.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in an old farm transformed into an environmental education center with basic facilities.- Sleep in shared rooms (up to 6 people) and bring your own sleeping bag and towel.- Volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning, with vegetarian food provided.



Leisure Activities: – Enjoy outdoor activities in a natural setting rich in vegetation and birdlife.- Explore hiking trails with cultural heritage maps nearby.- Access to the nearest town, Selfoss, which has shops, a geothermal swimming pool, and other amenities.
