About this camp: The camp is based at Alvira, which offers a range of activities to connect people with nature, such as community gardens, wildlife workshops, school programs, and hikes. Volunteers will help maintain the center through various tasks while enjoying a learning and fun experience outdoors.




Work: – Engage in community gardening and wildlife workshops.- Participate in maintaining the center through renovation and landscaping projects.- Share environmental issues from home countries with fellow volunteers.- Adapt to a flexible work and free-time schedule.- Experience outdoor activities and connect with nature.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay in shared rooms at an environmental education center.- Basic facilities include a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and laundry.- Volunteers will be responsible for cooking and cleaning, with vegetarian food provided.



Leisure Activities: – The location offers hiking trails with maps about cultural heritage.- Volunteers can enjoy outdoor activities in a serene environment with a pond and small stream nearby.- The nearest town, Selfoss, provides access to commerce, geothermal pools, and local attractions.
