About this camp: This camp combines learning, sharing, hands-on work and fun while focusing on environmental issues. Volunteers will spend time outdoors and are expected to be flexible with the schedule due to weather conditions. Accommodation is basic in shared rooms in Reykjavik, with vegetarian food supplied for self-catering.




Work: – Camp combines learning, sharing, and hands-on work.- No previous experience is needed to participate.- Volunteers will walk medium to long distances during cleanups and sightseeing.- Flexibility is required due to outdoor conditions and weather.- Sharing of environmental issues from volunteers’ home countries is encouraged.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay in a basic house in Reykjavik with shared rooms (up to 6 people).- Food supplies are provided, but volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning.- Vegetarian food is provided, and volunteers should bring traditional items for intercultural evenings.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavik is a modern city that harmonizes with nature.- It serves as the world’s northernmost capital situated between Europe and North America.- The city offers panoramic views of mountains and the Atlantic, along with a vibrant cultural scene.
