About this camp: This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through workshops, discussions, and outdoor cleanup tasks. Participants will contribute to environmental protection and engage with the local community while gaining practical skills for organizing their own cleanup projects.




Work: – Learn about global and local environmental issues through various activities.- Participate in outdoor cleanup tasks in collaboration with local organizations.- Engage the local community by opening some events to the public.- Choose between two hands-on volunteering activities, including a geothermal plant visit or coastal cleanup.- Prepare to share environmental issues and be flexible with outdoor schedules.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a house in Reykjavik with basic facilities including a kitchen and shared rooms.- Bring your own towel; volunteers will be responsible for cooking and cleaning.- SEEDS provides vegetarian food, and participants are encouraged to bring traditional items for cultural exchange.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavik is a modern city that harmonizes with nature and utilizes renewable energy sources.- The city offers panoramic views of mountains and the Atlantic, enhancing the experience of volunteers.- Reykjavik features a lively cosmopolitan cultural scene surrounded by beautiful nature.
