About this camp: This camp allows volunteers to learn about global and local environmental issues through workshops, discussions, and outdoor cleanup tasks. Participants will engage in hands-on activities while sharing environmental issues from their countries and adapting to the flexible schedule based on weather conditions.




Work: – Learn about global and local environmental issues through non-formal activities.- Participate in outdoor cleanup tasks in partnership with local organizations.- Involve the local community by hosting events open to the public.- Choose from two hands-on volunteering options including hikes and cleanup activities.- Share experiences and plan future trash cleaning projects back home.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay in a house in Reykjavik with basic facilities including a kitchen and shared rooms.- Food provided will be vegetarian, and volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning.- Participants should bring their own towel and traditional items for intercultural sharing.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavik is a modern city that harmonizes with nature using renewable energy.- It is an international city with a vibrant cultural scene and beautiful natural surroundings.- The city offers a panoramic view of mountains and the Atlantic, enhancing the experience for volunteers.
