About this camp: During this camp, participants can share their love for and learn more about global and local environmental issues, as well as photography. This project focuses on climate change, waste management, animal protection, and sustainability through workshops, discussions, and hands-on activities, aiming to create more environmentally aware consumers and travelers.




Work: – Participants will focus on global and local environmental issues and photography.- Activities include workshops, discussions, presentations, and visits related to environmental and sustainability topics.- Volunteers will engage in outdoor cleanup tasks and guided visits to local conservation projects.- Participants will practice photography while exploring the city and its environment.- Selected photographs will be showcased in an online exhibition on SEEDS’ social media.



Accommodation and Food: – SEEDS participants will stay in a house in Reykjavik with basic facilities.- Volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning with provided vegetarian food supplies.- Participants should bring traditional food and ingredients from their country for an intercultural evening.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavik offers a dynamic cultural scene and beautiful natural surroundings.- Hands-on volunteering activities include a day trip to the Hot River area or the Reykjanes peninsula for environmental projects.- Excursions to the Golden Circle or South Shore can be arranged at discount fares during free time.
