About this camp: During this camp, participants will explore global and local environmental issues while developing photography skills. Activities include workshops, discussions, and guided visits to local conservation projects, with an emphasis on creating environmentally aware consumers and travelers.




Work: – Participants will learn about climate change, waste management, and sustainability through photography.- Engage in hands-on activities such as outdoor cleanup tasks and guided visits to local environmental projects.- Develop artistic and technical photography skills while focusing on environmental issues.- Participate in workshops, discussions, and presentations facilitated by SEEDS.- Best photographs will be selected for an online exhibition on SEEDS’ social media.



Accommodation and Food: – Participants will stay in a basic house in Reykjavk with shared rooms and facilities.- Food provided will be vegetarian, and participants are responsible for cooking and cleaning.- Bring traditional food and items for an intercultural evening, being mindful of potential costs for certain ingredients in Iceland.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavk offers a dynamic mix of nature and modern culture, making it an exciting location for the camp.- Participants can choose between two hands-on volunteering activity days, including a cleanup at Hot River or Reykjanes peninsula.- Excursions to local attractions like the Golden Circle may be arranged at discounted rates during free time.
