About this camp: SEEDS volunteers will engage in various activities such as forestry work, maintaining vegetable greenhouses, and participating in cleanup efforts to raise awareness of ocean pollution. The camp, located at Alvira, offers opportunities for learning, sharing, and hands-on work while connecting with nature through community gardens, workshops, and hiking.




Work: – Engage in forestry work and maintain vegetable greenhouses.- Participate in nationwide cleanup efforts for ocean pollution and plastic waste awareness.- Help maintain the EcoVillage center through gardening and renovation tasks.- Share environmental issues from home countries and connect with nature.- Be flexible and adapt to changing work and free-time schedules due to weather conditions.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a basic environmental education center with shared rooms accommodating up to 6 people.- Volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning, with vegetarian food supplies provided.- Bring a sleeping bag, towel, and traditional food items for intercultural evenings.



Leisure Activities: – Enjoy outdoor activities in a peaceful location with rich nature and wildlife.- Access hiking trails that showcase cultural heritage, attracting both tourists and locals.- Visit the nearby town of Selfoss for commerce, swimming pools, shops, and bars.
