About this camp: Volunteers at the Alvira camp will engage in various activities, including working in forestry and vegetable greenhouses, and participating in cleanup efforts to raise awareness about ocean pollution. The camp, set in an environmental education center, offers opportunities for hands-on work, learning, and connecting with nature.




Work: – Participate in forestry work and vegetable greenhouse activities- Engage in hands-on cleanup efforts to combat ocean pollution- Help maintain the environmental education center through gardening and renovations- Share and discuss environmental issues from home countries- Be flexible and adapt to changing work and free-time schedules



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a basic renovated old farm with shared rooms for up to 6 people- Volunteers are responsible for cooking and cleaning, with vegetarian food provided- Bring your own sleeping bag, towel, and traditional food for intercultural activities



Leisure Activities: – Enjoy outdoor activities in a rich natural setting with streams and ponds- Explore hiking trails with cultural heritage maps- Visit the nearby town of Selfoss for local commerce and leisure activities
