About this camp: This photography-focused workcamp in Reykjavik combines learning and sharing about Iceland’s culture and environment, with hands-on activities including a night photography workshop for capturing the Northern Lights. Participants are encouraged to bring their own photography equipment and share environmental issues from their countries.




Work: – Participants will practice photography theory while exploring Reykjavik.- The best photographs will be featured in an online exhibition on SEEDS’ social media.- Participants should bring their own cameras, lenses, tripods, and laptops.- A night photography workshop for Northern Lights will be organized, dependent on weather conditions.- The camp emphasizes personal learning over community impact.



Accommodation and Food: – Participants will stay in a basic house in Reykjavik with shared rooms and dormitories.- Volunteers will cook and clean using vegetarian food supplies provided by SEEDS.- Participants should bring traditional food and items from their country for an intercultural evening.



Leisure Activities: – Reykjavik is a vibrant city that harmonizes with nature and uses renewable energy.- The capital city offers stunning panoramic views of mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.- Reykjavik features a lively cultural scene and beautiful natural surroundings.
