About this camp: Volunteers will primarily work at the Jewish cemetery and Shakhs synagogue, assisting in outdoor maintenance and preparing for the Jewish Culture Festival in Holesov. The work is moderately physically demanding, and volunteers will be accommodated in a shared house with limited facilities, requiring suitable clothing and sleeping bags.




Work: – Maintain outdoor areas at the Jewish cemetery and Shakhs synagogue.- Clean pavements, weed, cut and rake grass, and maintain graveyards.- Assist in the preparation of the Jewish Culture Festival.- Work on weekends during the festival while receiving adequate time off.- Bring suitable shoes and working clothes for moderately demanding tasks.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodations consist of a shared house with mattresses in one room.- Limited facilities with 2 toilets and showers 500 meters away.- Volunteers will cook meals together; washing machine use can be arranged.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the historical town of Holesov known for its Jewish heritage.- Opportunities to visit UNESCO site Kromeriz and pilgrimage hill of Hostyn.- Free entry to cultural activities organized by the Cultural Center.
