About this camp: Join us this April 2024 in Soshanguve, Pretoria, to contribute to the construction of a SAVWA community center. As a volunteer, you will engage in various construction activities and assist with after school programs including English lessons, arts and crafts, and theatre, making a tangible impact on the local community.




Work: – Engage in construction activities such as brickmaking and wall construction.- Assist in organizing after school programs including arts and crafts.- Collaborate with community members to complete the wall surrounding the center.- Contribute to the development of creative ideas for the center’s curriculum.- Work alongside other volunteers to enhance the experience for local youth.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will share accommodations, promoting a sense of community.- Housing is conveniently located near public transport and shops, fully equipped for comfort.- Enjoy a diverse South African culinary experience, including traditional dishes and local snacks.



Leisure Activities: – Explore Soshanguve, experiencing its multi-ethnic culture.- Visit historical and cultural landmarks in Pretoria.- Participate in group activities that foster bonding among volunteers.
