About this camp: Volunteers will engage in recycling waste products such as polythene, vehicle tyres, and unused items to create usable products while educating local communities and building entrepreneurial skills. RUCHI has over four years of experience in waste upcycling and volunteers will also participate in humanitarian initiatives like education and environment conservation.




Work: – Work with various waste products to recycle and create new materials.- Educate and build entrepreneurial skills among local communities.- Participate in humanitarian actions like non-formal education and women empowerment.- Engage in environmental conservation and organic farming activities.- Interact with local people regularly during the workcamp.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in shared accommodation on the RUCHI campus.- Basic amenities will be provided, including library facilities.- Vegetarian food will be served, with volunteers expected to assist in cooking.



Leisure Activities: – RUCHI campus is located near Bandh village, offering a peaceful environment close to nature.- Self-organized city tours and excursions can be arranged.- Nearby attractions include Kasauli hill station and Shimla, featuring beautiful temples and architecture.
