About this camp: During the Workcamp, participants will learn various methods to control invasive species and apply these techniques in Fornos de Algodres. They will also prepare awareness materials on the importance of environmental sustainability and engage with the local population about these issues.




Work: – Learn 6 methods to control invasive species.- Apply control techniques to 4 selected species.- Prepare awareness-raising materials on managing invasive species.- Raise awareness about environmental sustainability.- Remove rubbish from intervention spaces.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at Hostel EntryFik with gender-divided dormitories.- Meals provided include 5 daily meals, accommodating special dietary needs.- Free Wi-Fi available at the hostel.



Leisure Activities: – Maceira is a rural parish located in Fornos de Algodres.- It covers an area of 8.06 km² with a population of 229.- The address of the parish is Rua do Vale da Vinha, 1, 6370-341 Maceira – Fornos de Algodres, Portugal.
