About this camp: Participants will engage in awareness sessions on biodiversity and environmental preservation, guided tours of the region’s natural heritage, and removal of solid waste from the Pele River banks. They will also share cultural practices, create a commemorative mural, and participate in workshops on recycling and composting while enjoying comfortable accommodations in a transformed primary school.




Work: – Participate in biodiversity and environmental preservation awareness sessions.- Clear solid waste from the banks of the Pele River and adjacent areas.- Control invasive species and clear waterways.- Share cultural practices from participants’ countries of origin.- Create a commemorative mural to mark the international camp.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in a former primary school converted for artistic residencies.- Five bedrooms with gender-divided double and triple rooms ensuring privacy.- Participants enjoy four meals daily, prepared collaboratively in a fully equipped kitchen.



Leisure Activities: – Camp located in Vermil, a rural area surrounded by green hills and agricultural fields.- Approximately 8 km from the historic center of Guimarães, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.- The peaceful environment fosters activities connected to nature.
