About this camp: The workcamp focuses on improving nature routes in Montesinho Natural Park, promoting sustainable ecotourism, coexistence between rural activities and wildlife, and addressing community necessities. Participants will stay in a renovated school with basic amenities and engage in meal preparation.




Work: – Install orientation and information signs along nature routes.- Create tables and information boards from brown wood.- Install electric fences to protect beehives and chestnut orchards.- Assist local community in addressing their listed necessities.- Promote sustainable ecotourism through nature conservation efforts.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in a renovated children school with bathrooms and hot water.- Equipped kitchen for meal preparation by volunteers, with guidance from a cook.- Meals include breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.



Leisure Activities: – Located in Espinhosela, a village in Montesinho natural park.- Experience one of Portugal’s best-protected natural areas.- Observe local wildlife such as red deer, wild boar, and wolves in their natural habitat.
