About this camp: Lohra Castle, with its centuries-old architecture and vast natural surroundings, is a historically significant site that requires ongoing care. This workcamp provides volunteers the chance to contribute to the sustainable management of the castle, ensuring its grounds are well maintained and accessible for future visitors.
Work: – Volunteers engage in seasonal maintenance tasks to preserve the castle’s grounds.- The workcamp supports the long-term care of Lohra Castle, enhancing visitor experience.- Tasks include mowing, clearing organic material, and maintaining communal spaces.- The work contributes to heritage preservation efforts even without direct conservation actions.- Volunteers experience living in a medieval site, fostering responsibility and connection to heritage.
