About this camp: Lohra Castle, with its centuries-old architecture and vast natural surroundings, is a site of historical significance requiring continuous care. This workcamp allows volunteers to contribute to the sustainable management of the castle through seasonal maintenance tasks, ensuring its grounds remain accessible and well-preserved for future visitors.




Work: – Volunteers contribute to the sustainable management of Lohra Castle.- Seasonal maintenance tasks include mowing, clearing organic material, and maintaining open spaces.- Tasks support the aesthetic and functional upkeep of the historic ensemble.- Volunteers experience living in a medieval site, fostering a sense of stewardship.- Income generated supports conservation and educational projects.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers stay in rustic but fair conditions within the historic site.- Shared responsibilities in meal preparation foster camaraderie and cultural exchange.- Food is fully provided, ensuring no additional costs for volunteers.
