About this camp: This workcamp is ideal for nature enthusiasts, focusing on outdoor activities in the Upahl-Lenzen Nature Reserve. Volunteers will engage in manual maintenance tasks to help preserve the area in collaboration with the local environmental agency.




Work: – Maintain the Upahl-Lenzen Nature Reserve through outdoor work.- Mow meadows and clear grass by hand, avoiding traditional farming techniques.- Collaborate with the environmental agency of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.- Focus on preserving the natural environment.- Engage in community-oriented conservation efforts.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation provided in a youth club situated in a former kindergarten.- Simple and functional living arrangements with outdoor fire pit for evening gatherings.- Volunteers prepare their own meals, blending traditional recipes with new creations.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the peaceful village of Lohmen, rich in nature and history.- Participate in recreational activities at local sports fields or archaeological nature trails.- Opportunities for swimming and excursions to nearby cities like Rostock.
