About this camp: Volunteers will primarily trim bamboo trees to enhance carbon fixation in the forest and produce bamboo charcoal as a sustainable fuel alternative. Additional tasks include conducting marine environmental education for local middle school students and participating in traditional workshops like paper making and weaving.

Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will have access to bathrooms borrowed from neighbors, fostering community exchange.- Meals will be prepared by the volunteers themselves.- A sleeping bag is required for accommodation.
Leisure Activities: – The workcamp is located in the southwest region of Kyushu islands.- Engage with cheerful locals, many of whom enjoy drinking sake.- Participate in local events, exchange parties, and excursions, especially during cherry blossom season.
