About this camp: Volunteers will engage in cutting down trees in the SATOYAMA forest to promote biodiversity and support a healthy ecosystem. The work includes assisting in a kids’ camp and caring for free-range chickens. Volunteers will also participate in various activities, including hiking and cultural exchanges, while staying in a volunteer house in Nabari city, Mie prefecture.




Work: – Cut down trees and carry them out to ensure sunlight for the SATOYAMA forest.- Support and organize a 3-day summer kids’ camp.- Care for and slaughter free-range chickens for personal consumption.- Work alongside mentally and physically challenged individuals.- Engage in hard physical work from morning to evening.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay in a volunteer house.- Meals will be prepared by volunteers on a rotating basis.- Showers may be limited to once every two days based on work and environmental considerations.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the Kami-mitani area of Nabari city, 60 km from Osaka.- Nearby famous falls attract many hikers.- Participate in hiking and cultural exchange parties.
