About this camp: The main work involves cutting weeds and brushwood in the forest using machines, practicing soba-making almost every night for local events, and playing Japanese drums for the local festival. Volunteers will stay in a cottage in the forest and engage in various tasks for the local community while experiencing simple forest life.




Work: – Cutting weeds and brushwood of the forest using machines.- Practicing soba-making almost every night and selling it at local events.- Playing Japanese drums at the local festival with several practice sessions.- Engaging in various tasks to support the local community.- Living simply in a shared cottage environment.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers must bring their sleeping bags.- Everyone will sleep in the same room and prepare their own meals.- Basic amenities include a simple toilet, kitchen, and shower room; no internet access.



Leisure Activities: – Located 300 km northeast of Tokyo on Sado Island.- Enjoy fishing and hot springs in Ogi village beside the beach.- Participate in leisure activities like exchange parties and swimming in the sea.
