About this camp: The workcamp involves weeding in pesticide-free rice paddies, planting rakkyo, looking after goats, and collecting and making firewood. It is located at Kasahara East Exchange Center ‘Egao no Mori’, a renovated former primary school in the southern part of Fukuoka prefecture, surrounded by terraced paddy fields and extensive tree cover.




Work: – Weeding in pesticide-free rice paddies.- Planting rakkyo.- Looking after goats.- Collecting and making firewood.- Engaging in sustainable agricultural practices.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in large, renovated rooms for men and women.- Kitchen available for self-catering, utilizing locally grown produce.- Equipped with a wood-fired boiler for cooking.



Leisure Activities: – Located in the southern part of Fukuoka prefecture.- Surrounded by a landscape of terraced paddy fields and many tee trees.- Opportunities for leisure activities such as swimming in the river.
