About this camp: Volunteers will engage in organic farming activities, including planting rice and vegetables, weeding, and tending to goats and chickens, while also assisting with household tasks and trail renovations. The work schedule is demanding, from 05:30 to 18:00, but promises a rewarding experience in a culturally rich environment near the Japanese Northern Alps, where volunteers will enjoy shared meals and social activities with local members.




Work: – Assist in organic farming by planting rice and vegetables.- Weeding in vegetable fields and taking care of goats and chickens.- Carry supplies from town and renovate trails.- Help with household chores including cooking, washing, and clearing.- Engage in physically demanding work for good exercise.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will sleep in rooms of a beautiful cultural heritage house with basic facilities.- Meals will be prepared collaboratively with Kyodo Gakusha members.- No sleeping bag is necessary, and social life will take place in the main building nearby.



Leisure Activities: – The camp is located near the Japanese Northern Alps, preserving local culture.- There will be an exchange program with local members.- Excursions may include visits to Hakuba, a famous tourist spot.
